# Searching within GHS electronic Help documents

Did you know the entire reference manual is available electronically in the main program. It travels with you when your out of the office. And it has a search facility so you'll find a huge resource of information at your fingertips.

An example of using the searchable HELP in GHS
  1. Either type the help term you want to open, for example Help REPORT, in the GHS command line or click the HELP pulldown menu and choose a topic.
  2. Use the F key to open the search box. Note: Pressing G instead of F opens a global search of all Help documents.
  3. Type LINES in the search field and press ENTER, the first instance of the term will be highlighted.
  4. Press either the F3, A, or Enter key to continue searching through the document; each succesive instance of LINES will be highlighted as the search progresses.

Once you get comfortable using the search facility you'll find a huge resource of information at your fingertips.
